Jonathan Cain’s story is one of ultimate perseverance. As a young boy in Chicago, he survived the horrific Our Lady of the Angels school fire , a tragedy that claimed the lives of nearly 100 classmates and shaped his lifelong resilience.

Years later, while struggling as a musician on Sunset Boulevard, he called his father in despair, ready to quit. His father’s response——became the foundation for one of the most famous rock anthems in history. Cain eventually joined Journey , co-writing hits like "Faithfully" and "Open Arms," and has recently transitioned into Contemporary Christian music following his faith.
