Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet (2014) is an animated anthology film, produced by Salma Hayek and directed by Roger Allers, that features distinct animated segments for each of the author's philosophical poems. The film, which features a voice cast including Liam Neeson and Quvenzhané Wallis, follows the story of the artist Mustafa, who is under house arrest before his release and journey home. Different animators brought each poem to life with a unique style, including segments on love, work, and freedom.
