Install a zipper foot on your sewing machine to allow stitching close to the teeth.

If assembling a zipper from a continuous chain, insert the slider head by cutting a small V into the zipper teeth, feeding both sides in, and pulling the slider up. lb.zip

If needed, create secure bottom stops by stitching across the zipper teeth multiple times to prevent the pull from coming off. Install a zipper foot on your sewing machine

Turn the fabric over to the right side. Start at the bottom, stitching up one side of the zipper, turning at the top, and coming back down on the other side. feeding both sides in
