WWE 2009 was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) held on June 28, 2009, at the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, California. It was the sixth annual event in the Great American Bash series but the only one to be rebranded simply as "The Bash". The show featured wrestlers from the Raw , SmackDown , and ECW brands and was notable for several title changes and a brutal Three Stages of Hell main event. Major Championship Matches
